Straight Anchorman style - Panda Watch 2012! The San Diego Zoo's Giant Panda Bai Yun has given birth to a squeaky little pink baby panda. That's right, pink, they don't get their black and white coloring for a few weeks after birth. Bai Yun has been cuddling the little one nonstop like the most loving mother you've ever seen. It's amazing because she is getting up in the years for child bearing...no pun intended. But it appears that Bai Yun's motherly instincts are fresh as ever, barely leaving the den to even get a sip of water. I can't wait to see the little panda in person. Till then, I'll be checking The San Diego Zoo Panda Cam on a regular basis.
